Dolfijn Annie uit Curacao.
Vrijdag 4 januari kreeg dolphinmotion via een contactpersoon in Curacao informatie over het 'ongeluk' met dolfijn Annie. Dolphinmotion besloot de media en de partij voor de dieren hierover te informeren. Daardoor viel het licht ook op 6 uit het wild gehaalde dolfijnen die in noveber 2007 geimporteerd zijn. Tegen de regels van het internationale CITES verdrag in.
Dolfijn Annie uit de Dolphin-academy te Curacao ramt 3 nederlandse touristen! Ongeluk, vermoeid of gewoon dominant gedrag?
Volgens Ric O'Barry (ex-dolfijnentrainer) was dit duidelijk dominant gedrag van een woedende dolfijn.
Zo ook volgens Dr Naomi Rose: "Annie, the dolphin who did this, did it on purpose - I can say that with very high confidence, even without viewing the video clip but certainly after doing so! Why she did it is another question."
